OGA Executive Director Eckroat out

The Oklahoma Golf Association announced today that Steve Eckroat, who served as executive director since 2007, has vacated that role. 

Both OGA President David Thompson of Tulsa Country Club and OGA staff member Jay Doudican refused further comment, citing confidential legal matters. They did say that Eckroat vacated his position last week.

The OGA Board of Directors will initiate a search to fill the Executive Director position in early 2010.  Tournament schedules for 2010 have been established for the OGA championships and the OJGT junior events.  These schedules are posted on the OGA website www.OKgolf.org.
